Our Team

Our dedicated care management team includes health and human service professionals who work with aging adults, people with disabilities, and their caregivers to facilitate an individual’s health and well-being.

​Rachael Trussell, Supervisory Care Manager and Financial Care Manager   

A graduate of Radford University, Rachael began her career serving seniors and their families in a nursing home specializing in Alzheimer’s/Dementia. After returning to Hampton Roads, Rachael worked in an assisted living community for more than eight years before transitioning to human services with Adult Protective Services. With over ten years of experience, she has worked at a local agency specializing in Guardianship/Conservatorship in addition to serving as a Navy Ombudsman. She brings specialized training in crisis intervention; Alzheimer’s and dementia training; mental health First Aid; Trauma Informed Care; hoarding behaviors & techniques; financial exploitation, investigating self-neglect & APS facility investigations.

 

Jamillah Gray, Care Manager

Graduate of National University, Jamillah began her career as a Hospital Discharge Planner with Virginia Beach Department of Human Services, coordinating care for hospitalized people diagnosed with mental illness and substance abuse.  She has worked alongside various medical professionals to assist people with establishing mental stability during admission and support in the community upon discharge. Afterwards, she worked in community-based support services for several years, providing education, crisis intervention, advocating, promoting appropriate behaviors, assisting with necessary life skills, and linkage with community resources to increase stability in the community.

Jamillah has been a care manager at Tidewater Elder Services since 2021, managing care for incapacitated individuals and providing peace of mind to their loved ones.

Hayden Vedros, Care Manager    

Hayden has been a part of the TES family since May 2021 and is a newcomer in the field of geriatric care. As a graduate of William & Mary, he is naturally inclined to thorough research and creative problem solving. Hayden is a lifelong resident of Hampton Roads and is enthusiastic to give back to the senior community.

Joann Mancuso, Care Manager

Ms. Mancuso holds a Master of Science in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling, is a Certified Brain Injury Specialist (CBIS), and has over twenty-five years of experience working with the brain injury community in Virginia.
